CNY

CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! Once again it's CNY!!! The joy of all the kids!!! Me...??? Hmmmm... not the same kind of excitement as before. When young, CNY is a time of feasting and filling up Mr Piggy. But now, neither has the same attraction as before. It's nice to meet up those relatives whom I only see like once a year. But not when your family tree is so big till there are relatives whom I wondered if he/she is my cousin or my uncle/auntie. Can imagine how big my extended family is. Haha! Even though there's no real personal motivation to go visitation, I know my mu mum would love to go around and pay visits. So I tag along to accompany since Dad and sis went home. Dad was tired and sis was a 'sick chicken'. Poor girl!!!

Our first stop is at Ah Ma's place. This is one place I would definitely want to visit. To visit my Ah Ma!!! Though I can't speak her native language (oh yah hor! That's mine too), I know among her grandchildren, she adores me and my sis tremendously. And I too love her alot. We can't communicate much but through our little actions, we kinda affirm our love for each other. Haha! And she is one super granny. Though now of old age and leg injuries, she was once a hyper and 'in' granny. She loves to travel around and she just can't sit still. And one of my auntie was saying tat granny is one vain pot. She will always want to take photos!!! And thank God for that becoz she had a lot of photos of the past and as the descendants, we get to enjoy these precious and priceless moments. I have managed to get some of the old photos on my camera. Enjoy them!!!

She looked very mature for her age. Total children: 9 - 5 Boys, 4 girls!!! Ayyy... how come photo only 3 girls. The last daughter not yet in the photo. The last one is like 7 years apart of the 2nd last child. And my mum was like in Uni!!! hahahahaha!!!! Pro-creation......
