Memory Verse Day 001

Hi to all, I guess I had always wanted to do this but just seemed like I never had the chance nor the time to really sit down and materialise it. But thankfully due to a coincidental incident, I'm able to do it. Oh! Yah! I think you all must be wondering what I am talking about. I'm talking about having a daily scripture verse being put up. Cool! Then everybody will get to learn the Word of God!

So today, is the first day that the verse will be put up. And the verse is:

"Honour the Lord with your wealth,

with the firstfruits of all your crops;

then your barns will be filled to overflowing,

and your vats will brim over with new wine."

Proverbs 3:9-10

Bless the Lord and you will see the floodgate of blessings opening and pouring into your life. Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about prosperity gospel. The blessings I'm talking about can be in any form from material to emotional to spirtual to physical blessings. So let's not be just be blinded that the only blessing is money, wealth, materialistic stuff. Our God knows our needs and He will give us the best. I think the point here in this verse is to really love our God that we are so quick and sincere to honour Him with our best. The Lord loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
